East Care Physiotherapy has been providing services at the East Care Accident & Medical Centre since East Care grew from being an after hours medical service in the late 1980s (located in Aberfeldy Avenue, Highland Park), to the 24-hour Accident & Medical Centre in Botany Road, that it is today.
Our location within East Care provides you with quick and convenient access to medical, radiology, and pharmacy services, and we have a close working relationship with the GP members and visiting specialists, should you require referral to a Specialist.
At East Care Physiotherapy we value on-going professional development and keeping ‘up-to-date’ with current best practice. We promote treatments that have been shown by research to be effective, but we also encourage our physiotherapists to think ‘outside the square’. Many of the mainstream techniques we use today originally came from innovative thinkers in our profession and many New Zealand physiotherapists have led the way.
